WHAT
Join Professor Lawrence McNeil on a major international learning opportunity, during which you will gain a new cultural perspective, increase your professional network, and build your confidence to succeed! 

WHEN
Students participate in a lecture course, then travel as a group to South Africa  for approximately 10 days.  The anticipated travel dates are to be announced.

WHO
Students must enroll in and successfully complete ECON 3313 (Economic Development) during the Spring semester  Pre-requisites of ECON 2003, ECON 2113, or ECON 2123 apply.

WHY
The trip will provide participating students with first-hand experience regarding the economic and business practices within South Africa that will significantly complement in-class learning.

HOW
All students in good academic standing, have a CGPA of 2.50 or higher, and have earned at least 30 credit hours are eligible, regardless of major.  A travel fee of approximately $4,300 is required.  Scholarships are available.
