WHAT
Join Professor Lawrence McNeil and Kimberly Gordon on a Spring Break Short Course in Sydney, Australia which is designed to bring together academic instruction, private sector industry guest speakers, and government representatives. The trip will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities Australia offers entrepreneurs to develop innovative ideas.
WHEN
Students participate in a lecture course, then travel as a group to Australia for approximately 7 days. The official travel dates are
March 8 - March 17, 2019.
WHO
Students must enroll in and successfully complete ENTR 3013 (Economics for Entrepreneurs) during the Spring 2019 semester.
Pre-requisites: MGMT 2013 and junior/senior status for non-Business majors; junior/senior status for Business majors.
WHY
The trip will provide participating students with first-hand experience regarding the economic and business practices within Australia that will significantly complement in-class learning.
HOW
All students in good academic standing, meet the ENTR 3013 class pre-requisites, have a CGPA of 2.70 or higher (for scholarships), and have earned at least 30 credit hours are eligible, regardless of major. A travel fee of approximately $4,300 is required. Scholarships are available.
